Dartmoor Wildflower Nursery

We are a small nursery passionate about all things wildflowers. We hand harvest seeds locally, sowing and growing them in organic peat-free compost and tending them until they are strong and ready to plant out. We offer plants in a range of sizes from large plugs (60cc) to 2litre pots. We are always happy to share tips and tricks about how, where and when to plant your wildflowers. We also acknowledge that not everyone has access to a meadow so if you have space in your garden border or even pot or hanging basket there are many wildflowers that you can grow so please get in touch! We will slowly be adding articles to the website that will help explain and breakdown how to choose the plants for your meadow or garden, when and where to plant and so much more.

Who are we?

Hi, my name is Tyler. I am an obsessed plant person. I have been a veg grower for many years, worked in private gardening in the last few years where my curiosity peaked around wildflower growing and it hasn’t stopped! I am always exploring, experimenting, researching and probably talking about plants in all shapes and forms. I am a lover of bogs and the sea. I am a maker of all sorts too. I will share my creative endeavours in time and the overlap with wildflowers.
I have two wonderful friends, Cat and Oli, who help when I need an extra hand, and in time I hope to bring them in more.
